Happy Hogs!!!!
Our Success Stories:
Milo
Milo was our first rescue hedgehog. He belonged to a young boy who had lost interest in him. Milo was a sweetheart right from the start and obviously had been loved. He was very friendly and social. Finding him a permanent home was not a problem at all. He is now in a home where he participates in educating people about proper animal and pet care.
Lowderbrook
Lowderbrook came to me in a combined effort with another hedgehog enthusiast who agreed to assist me with his pick up and transfer. Lowderbrook was a young male about a year old and was a beautiful snow. He also was friendly and just as sweet as could be. He was being sorely neglected at his previous home and fed low grade vitacraft food. Lowderbrook now lives with a family in North Attleboro and is very happy.

Randall AKA FURI
Randall is a young male Pinto who came to me by another hedgehog enthusiast who was trying to rescue him. Randall's behavior had resulted in 4 homes in 1 year!!!!! He was very grumpy and wanted nothing to do with people. After several months he finally unballed and would allow himself to be handled (but still with protest). He progressed slowly and is now doing well. He has just recently found a home with a couple in Foxboro that have a lot of experience with taking in rescue animals and animals that require extra attention. They have renamed him Furi (short for furious) and he is enjoying a great life.

Wolfie
Wolfie was born at Pierce's Pogs and was a much beloved pet by his owner. Unfortunately, the landlord mandated that there were to be no pets allowed in the apartments where Wolfie and his owner resided. Wolfie came back to Pierce's Pogs to find a new loving home and has found one with a wonderful, loving woman named Kara. I am so happy to know that he has a forever home that will spoil him rotten. Wolfie is one in a million, a complete love bug and I know he will be a great companion to Kara.

Mojito
Mojito was adopted by Katrina and her boyfriend Andrew. Katrina has owned hedgehogs in the past and is going to provide Mojito with all the love and attention she deserves. We are very happy that Katrina and Mojito have found eachother:)

Snuggles
Snuggles was born at Pierce's Pogs in Jan of last year and adopted out to a loving owner. Snuggles was returned to find a new forever home when her owner needed to move to California where hedgehogs are illegal. She was adopted by a very nice woman from West Virginia and will have lots of company with 2 little boys and lots of other pets to keep her company. We will miss Snuggles but know that she is going to a great new home:)

Auggie
Auggie is a young male snowflake who was purchased from a very reputable breeder and then left in his cage, unsocialized til he was surrendered. He is a perfect example of what happens when people ignore their pet hedgehogs and leave them to become more and more shy of people. Within the short period of time he was with us, Auggie started to blossom and show the potential he had to be a wonderful, loving pet. He was adopted to a wonderful family that is very involved in animal rescue and animal charities. Auggie will undboubtedly benefit from such a nurturing and loving home to become the great guy we always knew he could be. Good for you Auggie..we will miss you very much

Tallulah
Tallulah is an amazing little girl. She is the sweetest, nicest hedgehog we have ever had the pleasure of taking in. Tallulah came to us from a well intentioned owner who was not able to meet her needs. Tallulah was extremely underweight weighing in at 187 grams at arrival and leaving for her new home at 335 grams a few weeks later. We also suspect that part of her wt issue lies in the fact not only of an improper diet but also issues with her teeth. But she doesnt have a worry in the world now...she has been adopted by our very own exotics vet, Susanne Saslaw. Tallulah is a lucky girl to be going to a home that is not only loving but one that will be able to meet any medical issues which she may face in the years to come. We love you Tallulah and know we will see you soon!

Happy
Happy has been with us for a few months working on socialization, treating her for mites, and working on her diet and body condition. She has really blossomed into a wonderful, healthy little girl. She was adopted today by an experienced small pet owner who is dedicated to continuing Happy's rehab and spoiling her rotten. We love you Happy ..good luck with your new home.
Speckle and Mackie
Speckle and Mackie were adopted together by Jesse. They are enjoying all the love and attention in their new home. We wish them the best.

Pickle:
Pickle was adopted by a wonderful couple, Karen and Dave. They have a deep adoration for small animals, owning many including a hedgehog who had passed away from old age. Pickle is sure to have a long and happy life with this loving couple.
Duke
Duke has found a wonderful home with Cheryle C. Cheryle is an experienced small pet owner and loves to take on challenges. Little Duke did some huffing and puffing but Cheryle was not deterred he was quickly won over. We know Cheryle adores her animals and that Duke will be very much loved and spoiled. Good luck Cheryle and Duke and keep in touch.
Elizabeth and Skipper
Wow what a great day!!!! We were sure Elizabeth would be with us forever (and we were fine with that) because of her behavior issues. But boy were we wrong. She fell in love with Lee and he in love with her...it is so wonderful. Skipper being the lovebug she is quickly won over both Krysta and Lee so they left with not one but two rescue hedgehogs. Krysta and Lee are a wonderful couple experienced with hedgehogs and devoted to their care.
