We will update the site with photos and bios of any hedgehogs we have available for adoption.  If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the following form and email it to PIERCESPOGS@HOTMAIL.COM  with a subject line of Adoption. The adoption fee is $75.00.

What are the basic care needs of a hedgehog as you understand them?

Are you willing to adopt a hedgehog with special needs?

The breeding lines of most of these rescue hedgehogs in unknown.  Therefore the chance of these hogs at some point developing WHS is a possibility.

Are you willing to take on a hedgehog with an unknown background, breeding and medical history?

Are you willing to incur the possible costs associated with caring for such a case? 

 The average life expectancy for a hedgehog is 5 yrs. We will not always know the exact age of the rescue hedgehog and thus will not always be able to supply an accurate estimate. Are you comfortable with adopting a hedgehog of questionnable age?

Adoption Agreement

I agree to the following terms:

  1. I understand I am adopting a rescue hedgehog with an uncertain past medical history.  I agree to incur any medical costs myself for the continued medical care of the hedgehog.
  2. The North Attleboro Hedgehog Rescue does not provide any health guarantee.  We will disclose any and all vet records, health information that we have available.  Any special needs will be disclosed and discussed before the adoption is finalized.
  3. At the time of adoption hedgehog will be in good health to the best of the rescues knowledge.
  4. I agree to NEVER breed the adopted hedgehog.
  5. I agree to NEVER sell the adopted hedgehog to a third party but will instead return him/her to the Rescue.
  6. I agree to a home visit by the Rescue post adoption.
